Easter 2010

Carmen is getting ready for her big Easter egg hunt. She is super excited!

The Easter Bunny hid close to 20 eggs for her to find; colored and candy filled.

Daddy and Uncle Kevin watch as Carmen runs about looking for eggs.

Everyone else finds a moment to catch up on each other's lives.

Carmen's First Dance Class

Grandma enrolled Carmen in a dance class and she loved it! Putting on her tutu for the first time was exhilarating and she even whispered to Grandma, "Grandma, I feel pretty." As you can see in the pictures below, Carmen had a blast and cannot wait to go back next week.

Ice Cream Party

Carmen enjoys spending her weekends having low-calorie ice cream parties with plastic ice cream. You can have as many helpings as you want! :)

New Hair Cut

Carmen got a hair cut today at a place called The Yellow Balloon. It was the perfect place for her because along with her hair cut, she got a balloon and some cookies. Who knew hair cuts could be so much fun.

Baking Valentine's Cookies

Carmen, Mommy, and Auntie Kelly spent an evening baking Valentine's Cookies for GrandMa and GrandPa. Carmen loves baking (and putting her fingers in everything) so it was definitely a blast.

At every opportunity she got, Carmen stole a lick of the frosting.

Christmas 2009

Xmas Crafts With Auntie Kelly

Auntie Kelly's friends, The Shafers, made Christmas related arts and crafts for Carmen as a Christmas gift. What an awesome gift! Carmen was so excited to sit and string beads onto a snowflake. When she was done, we put it on the Christmas tree.

Carmen is carefully placing marbles onto a starfish here. She loved it. Afterwards, she counted all of the marbles for me.

Lastly, Carmen decorated a snowflake with butterflies. I think this one was her favorite, although she still has a Christmas tree to make out of candy. We're saving that one for a special treat. Thank you Maddie, Jill, and Mike for such a fun gift!!
