Easter 2011

Uncle Kevin and Aunt Emily brought their new puppy, Miete, to our Easter celebration. Carmen adores her.

Merry Christmas 2010

Our group shot minus one very special baby who was still at the hospital.

Grandpa received a nice sweatshirt from Carmen for Christmas.

Carmen helped to pass out the gifts from under the tree and then she'd take a seat to watch as we opened it. She was so excited to see what everyone got.

Gingerbread House

Uncle Darin bought Carmen a gingerbread house kit. We all helped build and decorate the house.

Auntie Kelly took charge of frosting the house while Carmen took charge of sorting the candy, and sneaking a few.

Carmen had a great time building her very first gingerbread house...although she did more eating than building :)

Carmen got super excited to see what was inside the pumpkin :)

Carmen wasn't allowed to carve anything so we let her poke a piece of pumpkin to keep feeling like she was helping. It worked. :)

Grandma, Grandpa, and Auntie Kelly took Carmen to Wilderness Park for a picnic and some hiking. The weather was perfect for spending time outdoors.

We even visited the wildlife museum and learned all about the animals found in the park.

Beach Day

It was a windy day, but Carmen still had a ton of fun.

Her favorite thing to do is dig in the sand, and get all sandy :)

Mommy and Daddy helped Carmen fly the kite that she got for her birthday from Uncle Kevin and Auntie Emily.

Memorial Day Weekend BBQ

Sunday on the eve of Memorial Day, the Bermejo's decided to have a bbq with the Stanchfields.
The weather was awesome and made everyone anxious for summer to arrive.

Auntie Kelly was particularly excited to get to spend time with Carmen, her favorite niece.

Carmen is so fearless when she sees the ocean. If her mom wasn't holding her back, Carmen would have run and jumped right in.
